Moisture Wicking
Starting a new term shouldn’t come with a knot in your stomach about an unexpected period mid-lesson. With Modibodi, it doesn’t have to. Our scientifically proven* leak-proof period underwear and swimwear gives A+ protection right through a long school day, and the patented Merino wool gusset keeps everything feeling fresh, dry and panic-free. Whether she has just started her periods or she’s simply refreshing her back-to-school essentials before September, she can walk in feeling ready. From her first period to her last, she’ll never look back.
Confidence often comes down to one thing: knowing there’s a spare. A discreet period bag for school slips into a school bag or blazer pocket, holding a clean pair of leak-proof underwear and a few wipes for a quick freshen-up between lessons. Choose the absorbency to suit the day, tuck a used pair away for the journey home, and PE or swimming lessons stop feeling like a hurdle. If you’d rather not assemble it yourself, our Teen First Period Kits gather the basics in one go, while our Teen Period Pants and Teen Period Swimwear see her through from the classroom to the pool.
A new school year feels far more manageable when the essentials are sorted, and that matters most for anyone starting secondary school. Beyond the Teen First Period Kits, our back-to-school essentials include leak-proof underwear in every absorbency, soft everyday basics and sleepwear made for all-day and overnight comfort. Each piece is independently lab tested and scientifically proven to keep her dry, fresh and odour-controlled through the longest of days. Spread the cost with Clearpay or Klarna, and head into September feeling prepared.
Three things cover almost every situation: a spare pair of period underwear, a small zip pouch so nothing is on display, and a wet bag for anything that needs to come home.
Yes. Period underwear is designed to stay in place through running, jumping and quick changes between classes, which makes it well suited to PE and after-school sport.
A heat pack or warm drink at recess helps many people, and gentle movement often does more than sitting still. Most schools will let you visit the sick bay for a rest if you ask. If cramps are severe enough to keep you home, make you vomit, or stop you concentrating in class most months, that is worth a GP appointment rather than something to push through.
Rinse in cold water until it runs clear, then wash with the regular load, cold and on a normal cycle. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibres and reduces absorbency over time, and skip the dryer, which shortens the life of the leak-resistant layer. Line or rack dry.
